Thank you for choosing to support St Mirin’s Cathedral. There are many ways you can do this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can support the work of the parish spiritually by praying for the clergy and for the lay faithful in the parish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the start of the Covid pandemic, the Diocese of Paisley set up online giving with PAYA Charity to allow Parishioners to donate to their Parishes while unable to attend Mass in person. Since PAYA Charity no longer provide this service, we have moved to Charities Trust. Below, you will find the new links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most efficient way to donate on a regular basis to your Parish is by using standing orders, which can be set up using a form or using online banking.  The Charities Trust however is a useful additional way of giving to your Parish, and allows visitors to Parishes to make one-off donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gift Aid<\/mark> and Standing Orders<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you pay tax and you haven\u2019t already signed a Gift Aid declaration for the parish, please do so. All your contributions will be augmented by 25% at no cost to you. In the year 2021-2022, the Gift Aid on contributions to the cathedral parish amounted to \u00a318,000+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most reliable and secure way to contribute to your parish is via Standing Order. To do so is to ensure a regular contribution is made, either weekly, monthly or annually. Although weekly and monthly Standing Orders are more practical for the administration of the parishes, we understand that a single, one-off contribution annually might better suit your needs. We encourage as many people as possible to set up a Standing Order. Please note that we can claim Gift Aid on all contributions made via Standing Order as long as a Gift Aid declaration has been completed and returned.

Leaving A Gift in Your Will<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once you have made sure that your loved ones will receive something after you go to your eternal reward, you might consider leaving a gift in your Will to St Mirin’s Cathedral parish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giving money to a charity in your Will is a great way to leave a positive legacy for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
