Find out more about how you can support the cathedral parish below.
Thank you for choosing to support St Mirin’s Cathedral. There are many ways you can do this.
You can support the work of the parish spiritually by praying for the clergy and for the lay faithful in the parish.
Online Offertory Portal
If you would like to support the cathedral parish with online donations, use the Online Offertory Portal, which has been set up by the diocese.
Through this portal, the lay faithful are able to support their own parishes as well as other diocesan funds (Vocations, Sick and Retired Clergy, etc.).
Monsignor Joe and Father Ryan really appreciate the support that so many continue to provide.
You can support the work of the parish financially by making an on-line donation via the diocesan Online Offertory Portal. To donate to the parish, click the button below or scan the QR code.
Gift Aid and Standing Orders
If you pay tax and you haven’t already signed a Gift Aid declaration for the parish, please do so. All your contributions will be augmented by 25% at no cost to you. In the year 2021-2022, the Gift Aid on contributions to the cathedral parish amounted to £18,000+.
The most reliable and secure way to contribute to your parish is via Standing Order. To do so is to ensure a regular contribution is made, either weekly, monthly or annually. Although weekly and monthly Standing Orders are more practical for the administration of the parishes, we understand that a single, one-off contribution annually might better suit your needs. We encourage as many people as possible to set up a Standing Order. Please note that we can claim Gift Aid on all contributions made via Standing Order as long as a Gift Aid declaration has been completed and returned.

Leaving A Gift in Your Will
Once you have made sure that your loved ones will receive something after you go to your eternal reward, you might consider leaving a gift in your Will to St Mirin’s Cathedral parish.
Giving money to a charity in your Will is a great way to leave a positive legacy for the future.
For more information about this, please call Cathedral House to speak with a priest, or the Diocese of Paisley Finance Office on 0141 847 6131.
